"Two Tutu Friends" is the forty-sixth episode of Timothy Goes to School.
Synopsis[]
Doris is impressed with Grace's ballet and they begin to bond over it. But after Grace embarrasses herself and she overhears Doris tell everyone what happened in school they begin to argue.
Summary[]
On one snowy day, it's Grace's turn In the Spotlight, where she shows some of her ballet moves as Mrs. Jenkins performs the piano. Doris takes keen interest to it, to which Grace suggests she should come to one of her dance classes. Later on in the night, Doris sees the experience herself. Grace then shows her how to do a move. They enjoy themselves along the way. The following day, Doris talks about the experience to the other Hilltop students, and saves Grace a seat.
At school, Grace and Doris play a "Follow the Dancer" game, and after that Doris paints Grace spinning, while Grace paints Doris. She mentions that her Mom is now allowing her to take dance lessons and is going to purchase a dance outfit. The following night, Doris shows up in the Dance Studio with her new outfit, and the two girls play a "Guess the Dance" game before the dance class begins. As they start dancing, Grace loses her balance and as she slips and falls into some costumes. She begins to cry in embarrassment, saying to Doris that dancers aren't supposed to dance like that. She cheers up when Doris allows her to be her dance partner in the next practice.
The next day at school, Doris tells the students that Mrs. Jenkins let her and Grace do a duet when she gets better. She also mentions about Grace's accident, but Grace comes in at the worst possible moment, with everyone else laughing at her predicament. She calls Doris a blabbermouth and starts crying, to-which Doris calls her a crybaby, so they don't want to dance with each other.
That night, Grace and Doris are still mad, and decide to choose Melanie the Raccoon and a skunk respectively. They find it difficult to work with their new partners, and end up sitting backstage, bored. Doris then says that they shouldn't be mad at each other, to which Grace says that she felt embarrassed about the fall and didn't like Doris telling everyone about it. They then apologize, and end the episode dancing together while laughing.
